September’s largest sale was an enormous home designed by architect Donald Lococo.  It has hardwood floors throughout, a formal living and dining room, a rustic family room, a master bedroom suite with his and her baths, a wine cellar, an au pair suite, terrace and a two car garage.

Personally this house is kind of boring to me.  One reason I love this monthly post is to see how people are decorating these enormous houses.  Not only is this one empty, I really dislike the army green and tans.  Oh well.  There are elements that are lovely:  I adore the chevron floor in the foyer.  The master bathrooms that are his and her…I die.  Did you see those closets????  Maybe I need to get over myself.  Hahaaa. (click address for the full virtual tour).
