go visit | glen’s garden market

Glen's Garden Market has been on my "must visit" list since it opened in April. The initial concept was a grocery store selling only local products produced in the Chesapeake watershed states.  As the months passed, the store has made a few adjustments per customer request like selling soy milk and orange juice.  I was more interested in the prepared foods and sandwiches offered.

The store itself is very attractive.  There's produce and dried goods but for me, the best parts are the long bar/coffee area in the front framed in reclaimed wood and the deli/prepared food counter in the back.  I picked up house made roast beef and provolone for sandwiches and a Bulgogi Hoagie for my husband.  Everything we tasted was excellent.  I didn't sample anything else but I'll definitely go back in the future.  As you can see from the photos, there's lots of tempting treats!
